It's been more than a year since the last time I have uploaded something.
I don't know whether there still are people visiting this blog, but I have news for you. I will continue uploading cool music for sure :)

The last several years were a bit challenging since I moved from Macedonia to South Africa. I needed some time to adjust to the new environment, and now that I feel fully “adjusted” I can continue uploading stuff.

I consider this album one of the best things I have compiled. Don't be confused by bands like the Beach Boys and their happy jolly tunes - this has NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM. SURF ROCK is basically a combination of 60’s instrumental beats influenced by mysterious tropical themes. I call this genre a combination of ISNTRUMENTAL ROCK, EXOTICA and ULTRA LOUNGE. I am sure you will like it – it is a recommended download.

I also would like to add that I dedicate this album to Xtabay's World, who was one of the first to start our movement and was most influential in the formation of our emerging exotica-lounge-sharing culture.

This jazzy organ album of Jommy Smith is one of my
favorites. It's so "midnight elegant".

This album, arranged by Lalo Schifrin, features selections
from two film scores (including "The Cat," for which composer
Schifrin won a Grammy), some big-band style orchestrations,
and plenty of blues. In 1964 this release defied the boundaries
of idiom, appealing to a huge audience of jazz, r&b, and pop fans.

After some months of inert posting, I desided to bring back the old charm of
Lazar's Lounge, and post more often (as I used to do)..

I also desided to RE-UPLOAD MY OLD POSTS !!!

Miles playing crime rythms..
Miles Davis made this album as a soundtrack for the french
movie "Ascenseur pour l'echafaud" - a very beautifull movie..

Miles was disapointed from some things in the USA and went
living in France for a whle.. In Paris he made frinds with

So far, I have posted all kinds of music - lounge,
cocktail, jazz, funkey, french, american folk,
italian, swing e.s.t

But I have never talked to you about my country -
about Macedonia :)

On the 8th of September we celebrated the Day of
Independence of Macedonia, and I desided to make
a compilation of my favorite Macedonian folk song...

Inside the album you will also find photos me and
a friend of mine made when we were touring accros
Macedonia this summer.

The picture form the cover is one of the photos
I made in Ohrid (southern Macedonia)...

Most of the songs date fom the soconf half of the
19th century, and they talk about love, christianity
and patriotic feelings...

Enjoy the Slavic Macedonian voises of the rich
Macedonian cultural heritage..

Thanks eryone for visiting my site, and being with me
all this time..

As you can see, I wasn't posting anything this month,
because i had some work to do..
I was renovating my home, and i started working.
The fact is, I started a very interesting job for me :)

But now, after getting the things started, I can spear

Well, as I sad this is my favorite album for
all times...
It is the Original soundtracks of the classic
1949 British film "The Third Man" directer by
Carol Reed, which starred Orson Welles in the
key role of black marketeer Harry Lime.

The haunting zither music of Anton Karas helped
to make the film so memorable.
Mr. Karas was a zither player in a Vienna wine
tavern when he was discovered by the British
film director Carol Reed, who came to Vienna
after World War II to direct "The Third Man".
Searching for a musical theme for his villain,
Harry Lime, Mr. Reed heard Mr. Karas's simple
plucked melodies and asked if he would compose
the music for the film.

The covers of the albums were made by me, but
I also posted the original covers...

And so enjoy this masterpiece which begins with
the famous narration:
"I never knew the Old Vienna, before the war,
with its Strauss Music..."

This compilation that I made from several albums
I bought when I visited the USA, I want to dedicate
to the biggest american Holliday, the Veteran
Memorial Day...

Although I'm not an American, when I listen to this
music, I feel so exited and filled with feelings...
This also happens to me when I listen to russian folk
songs, french songs, and the german "Lili Marlaine"
by Marleene Dietrich.

The songs in this album are from the American
Revolutionary War, from the Civil War (both Union
and Confederate songs), from the war in Korea and
from Vietnam.. There is also a song from the war in
Texas. The picture on the cover is from an war
propaganda poster from WWII..

I especially like Track 20 (green Beret Balad) and

Posted for the first time, Lazar's Lounge proudly
present this excellent soundtrack for the movie
“Naked Lunch” by the famous Ornette Coleman
and Howard Shore.

As far as we’re speaking about the movie, I must say
that the grotesque scenes repelled me, and because
of them I dislike it… But on the contrary – The music
was superb!!!

Mysterious and nervous Jazz sounds, shadows and
lonely streets.. The ultimate Crime Jazz Beat!
I recommend it to all of you…

This is a Macedonian pop song from the 60s, the golden
