Lolita - Nelson Riddle

The genious Nelson RIddle made this album for Stanley Kubrick's movie "Lolita" in 1962.
This album contains the softest and the most tender song ever made - "Lolita Ya Ya"(as far as I'm concerned).
Also if you've watched the movie, you'll recall Petter Sellers dancing to this song - "Quilty's Caper".
Good movie, good acting, good Music !!!
The songs are in mp3 format with a rate of 192 kbps
Enjoy

Kubrick was GREAT!
He is greatly missed
I still have a great love for The Shinning. Every time it is on television, I can't turn it off.
*Funny bit of useless trivia: The same guy who did the hair on The Shinning, also did the hair on The Bounty with Mel Gibson. Weird!
Yes, Kubrick is a graet director. I even divide Holiwood into two time areas: Before Kubrick, and after him.
My favorit Kubrick film is "Dr. Strangelove", "2001-A Space Odyssey" and "Barry Lyndon".. And offcourse "The Shining", a very good postmodern-gothical movie :)
Great start Lazar, I think this may be my fave Kubrick film but he was definitely one of the greats.
One of my favs!
Great Shares! My favourite kubrick films are The Killing, Dr Strangelove, 2001.. All kubrick films are great..

Greetings to Lazar’s Lounge from the hot and humid Philippines (with the sunny beaches, too)!
It’s wonderful to discover a place where I can hang out so lazily and elegantly, filled with lush s0unds and melodies that make me shake or swoom! No I don’t have whisky or crystaL glasses (or cigarette) for the mo0d, but I do haVe coconut juice and I can lie back oN my office cHair and enjoy the sounds uSing my headphones. ^^*
Mr. Kubrick iS wonderful, a one of a kind visioNary, … okay, maybe a clockwork orAnge made me sleepy and Barry London iS too long for its own g0od (however, its speciaL lighting and all those frames looKing like paintings is quite enthraLLing~~) , but he has done some of the greatest films eVer- classics that I imagine will be waTched with interest many manmy years from now… (however, I am yet to see LOLITA, and listening to the snipPets of conversation here conVinces me that I should watch it ASAP )
The musiC is superb- wow, more props to Mr. Riddle for this shining achievement! This soundtrack is incredible, I’d like to mEntion 2 songs: with “The Strange Call” full of textures and resonance that’s eerie and subtly mad, and the Truly unforgettable LOLITA YA-YA is both exquisite and Kitschy, throbbing with pleasure. Makes mE wanna close my eyes when I listen to this…
Many “lovely, lyrical lilting” THANKS to you~~~
Wow, the sunny Philippines...Well Macedonia is not so exotic,
but it's a nice place too..
I respectfully dissagree with you - Barry Lyndon is a very
beautiful movie, and the scenography and the costums are simply
marvelous..
But still, girl you must watch "Lolita"... Especialy the scene
when Peter Sellers dances at the school play (Quilty's Caper)..
So elegant, so.. so... no comment :)
Ha ha I remember that my grandpa who was always looking for Viagra Online also was in loved with Lolita.
